Top 3 Cleansers & Toners

1) Clarins Cleansing Milk & Toning Lotion
I absolutely adore these products, they were the first ever cleanser & toner that I got when I was about 16. I've never had any skin problems, and I like to think it was because of this product.
It has the loveliest smell and leaves your skin feeling extremely soft. They come in Normal/Dry and Combination/Oily and are really soothing for your face, especially if your skin is feeling a bit dry.

(John Lewis currently have an amazing offer on this product)

2) Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser & Skin Tonic
After reading the hundreds of reviews and reccommendations for this brand, I had to give it a go, just to see what all the fuss was about! I didn't think it would make a major difference on my skin, because I very rarely get spots and I always remove my make up so my skin is in quite good condition. I will admit, I was slightly confused as to what I do with the cloth. After rubbing the cleanser into your skin, you run the cloth under warm water and wipe your face to remove the cleanser along with any dirt. I pat my face dry with a towel and apply the skin tonic with a cotton pad.
I was delighted with the results, my skin instantly had a healthy glow and it was left feeling as soft as a baby's bottom.

3) The Body Shop Vitamin E Cleanser & Toner
I wanted to try this brand because of it's high reputation and thought that it's skin care products must be of excellent standard. I wasn't wrong. Although I only use this product when I don't have my Clarins, it still leaves my skin looking healthy. The Vitamin E is incredibly gentle and leaves your skin looking radiant and smelling like fresh flowers. It gently lifts away make up and dirt, without leaving a greasy film.

Glossy Box June

I was so excited when I heard the post man with my parcel... I knew exactly what it was! The much anticipated June edition of Glossy Box.
Initially, I was a little disappointed with this one... maybe because the 'sexy summer box' was unfortunately delivered on a not so summery/typically British June day.

  •  Glossy Box : Serie Exclusive Pro Beauty Brush
  • MEMEME Cosmetics : Sensuous Nail Gloss
  • BM Beauty : Summer Warmth Bronzer
  • Caudalie : Eaux Fraiches
  • Vichy : Dermablend Ultra-Corrective Foundation

My favourite product is the Caudalie Eaux Fraiches perfume sample, I wish that smellivision had been invented because everybody HAS to smell this beautiful scent. I'd describe it as a pairing of apples and fresh flowers.
The Vichy Dermablend foundation is said to camouflage severe skin flaws. I don't know about this, but it worked wonders on the dark areas under my tired eyes.
I really like the Glossy Box beauty brush, instinctively I used it with the BM Beauty bronzer, and they worked well together. I usually apply my bronzer with a Kabuki brush, but the "natural goat hair blush brush" seemed to do a good job on highlighting my cheekbones with the bronzer.
The MEMEME Cosmetics nail gloss isn't a colour I would normally go for, however the "season's key catwalk peach shade" looks a lot nicer on the nails than I imagined.

Holiday clothes

I have recently returned from my holiday to the South of France, however, here is a little collage of my favourite holiday items:

  • straw boater hat : H&M
  • swan print skirt : Topshop
  • beach hut towel : John Lewis
  • navy polka dot bikini :  Urban Outfitters
  • sunglasses : Topshop
  • navy sailor top : Topshop
  • blue floral playsuit : Jack Wills
  • mint green cropped jeans : Zara
  • floral playsuit : H&M
  • flip flops : Jack Wills, Tennis shoes : Superga, sandals : asos

Glossy Box May

After reading many positive reviews and vlogs about Glossy Box, I decided to sign up. The thought of a little box of treats coming in the post is very exciting, almost like having a birthday present every month.

This was my very first Glossy Box:

Products included: (clockwise from the left)
  • HD Brows : Grow Baby Grow
  • Apivita : Express Beauty Masks
  • Glossy Box compact mirror
  • Glossy Box Balloon!
  • Noble Isle : Summer Rising Bath & Shower Gel
  • Osmo : Berber Oil Hair Treatment
  • Lolita Lempicka perfume samples

By far, my favourite product is the Noble Isle Summer Rising Bath & Shower Gel; it smells absolutely devine and is extremely refreshing on a warm Summer's day.
The Apivita Beauty Masks are wonderfully moisturising and leave your skin feeling brand new.
Unfortunately, I haven't used the HD Brows because I have very full eyebrows and they definitely don't need encouragement to grow!
The Osmo Berber Oil left my (usually wild) hair very sleek and smooth, I would recommend it to anyone that is looking to tame frizzy ends.
The perfume samples are very light and fresh, and are perfect for a Summer evening.

I have decided to move from tumblr, my blog felt a little out of place, so hopefully Blogger will feel more at home :)
