Richmond Tea Rooms, Manchester.

Last Friday, I visited the Richmond Tea Rooms in Manchester, with my Sister, Mother, Aunt and Cousin. We had a delightful afternoon in a beautiful setting. Nestled away in The Village, the Richmond Tea Rooms is a traditional English Tea Shop with a Tim Burton inspired twist.
We had a selection of Hatter's Teas (tea, sandwiches, quiche, scone, jam and cream) and Queen's Teas (all of the previous, with an additional selection of cakes and pastries). All homemade.

My Pamper Routine & Essentials

So one of my absolute favourite things to do on a Sunday night is have a good pamper. It calms and unwinds after a long week, and prepares me ready for Monday morning.

It begins with a gorgeous bubble bath, and candles of course. 9 times out of 10, I will use a lovely bath product from Lush - it's just always hard to choose just one bubble bar! Tonight I used the Rose Bubble Bar.
Whilst I'm waiting for the bath to fill up, I'll apply a hair treatment and face mask.
Then I get into my really lovely and relaxing bubble bath and let the hair and face masks work their magic!
After 20 minutes, I'll wash the hair mask out with my favourite shampoo 'Rehab' and also remove the face mask, I will exfoliate my body with the Breakfast Scrub by Soap and Glory.

After my bath, I will moisturise my body from top to toe!
I will then pamper my feet using my brilliant foot spa and amazing products from The Body Shop!
Last but not least, I will moisturise my hands, apply a nail treatment and paint my nails.
Then there's nothing better than putting on clean PJs and getting into fresh bedding.
What are your Pamper Night essentials?

Revlon ColorBurst Matte & Lacquer Balms

Before going out and buying one of every colour (as I have done in the past), I thought I would try just one of each balm to see if I like the product. I've heard a lot about the new range, and I am generally a fan of all Lip Crayons.
For the Lacquer Balm, I chose the shade Coquette, a super girly & pretty pink that is quite sheer and can be built up for a more striking look. I absolutely LOVE this Lacquer Balm, it applies so smoothly and really nourishes the lips.

For the Matte Balm I chose the shade Unapologetic, which I thought looked like a perfect Spring coral shade. It's actually quite a vibrant Barbie Pink, which doesn't show up on camera (true colour is better shown a few photos down), and is a shade I wouldn't normally have the confidence to wear. I found the Matte Balm to be extremely drying and actually emphasised my dry lips - (my fault, I should have exfoliated and moisturised properly before application). I would like to give this product another go when my lips are in better condition and not so dry from Winter.

Top : Coquette | Bottom : Unapologetic

I must say that I much prefer the Lacquer Balms and I think I will pop back to Boots and take full advantage of their current '3 for 2' offer at the moment. I think these products will be perfect during Spring and Summer, and I can't wait to try all the shades.

Have you tried the new Revlon ColorBurst Balms? ... If so, what is your favourite shade?
