Lush : Sweetest Thing Gift

The super-sweet trio of pink products will add a bubblegum scented element to the bath and is a perfect gift idea for those that love the saccharine Lush scents.

Think Pink Bath Bomb
This pretty little bath bomb is so lovely and uplifting. Pop it into warm water and revel in the pink sweet tonka and comforting Fair Trade vanilla water that unfolds. A sunny note of neroli oil compliments soothing lavender to create a cheerful, yet calming soak.
The Comforter Shower Cream
The blend of sweet cassis absolute, uplifting bergamot and assuring cypress essential oils create a blackcurrant aroma that's like being wrapped in a snug hug. This was far too sweet for me at first, and I still have to be in the mood for it, but when I am, it's extremely comforting.
Pink Fun
I think this smells like vanilla and sweets, which comes from tonka absolute, adding a warm caramel note. This gentle 4-in-1 product can be used as a solid shampoo, bubble bar, soap, or for play. I prefer to crumble a small piece under running water for a bubble bath.

Favourite Dresses of Summer

I was shocked when I checked my calendar to realise that it's September next week. And yes, Autumn is my favourite season and I cannot wait for cosy knits and ankle boots, I wanted to reflect on my favourite summer dresses of 2016, because I fell in love with quite a few...

1. Archive By Alexa, The Elsie Dress £39.50
This has got to be my most worn dress this summer, and most versatile. When I first purchased it back in April I had every intention of returning it, thinking I wouldn't get much wear out of it. But quite the opposite! I've worn it to festivals, BBQs, interviews, and parties! I think it's the most transitional too as it would still look very sweet with tights and boots.

2. Topshop Daisy Dress, £42.00 (similar here)
My favourite dress of the summer! I love the daisy pattern and I don't actually have any red dresses so it's quite unique in my wardrobe. The wrap around element and ruffle detail is really pretty (I have explained previously I need to fasten it with a safety pin other wise my flat chest is very exposed!), but other than that I think it's lovely. I've worn it to festivals, parties and out for dinner and drinks.

3. Olive Clothing, Dandelion Stitch Dress £59.00
I really really fell in love with this pretty smock dress as soon as I saw it, I couldn't stop thinking about it. So I bought it with the intention of taking it to Glastonbury (white dress + mud = disaster you say?) it actually didn't get a spot of dirt on it (thanks to sitting on my boyfriend's pac-a-mac for the day I wore it). It's also been lovely to wear throughout summer and I'll be sad to pack it away until next year. It's very short, I was very conscious of my pale little legs when I wore it, and bending over too! So sometimes I wore shorts underneath.

4. ASOS, Denim Ruffle Smock Dress £35.00
Again, a Glastonbury Festival purchase, but I've loved it throughout summer. It's a nice thick denim material so it's perfect for chillier days. I think it's really transitional for autumn and would look really lovely with woolly tights and chelsea boots. It's also the perfect length and the ruffle detail is very pretty and continues my favourite trend of 2016: Victoriana.

5. Zara, Smock Dress £30.00
Sadly I've only been able to wear this a handful of times. I think it's absolutely lovely, I adore the colour, shape and button detailing on the back, but it's just way too short. Maybe if I have tanned legs it wouldn't look so bad, but it just emphasises my paleness. I still love the dress though, and perhaps I might try styling it with tights and ballet flats in autumn, or save it until next summer if I go somewhere hot.

So they're my Top 5 dresses this summer! I filmed a Summer LookBook which features a few of them if you'd like to watch it here:

A Weekend in Anglesey : Sunday

On Sunday morning, after the most comfortable night's sleep on a cloud-like bed, we headed down for breakfast. I had granola with yogurt and fresh berries, followed by a vegetarian cooked breakfast. We took our brews and orange juice outside to sit and watch the beautiful countryside.

Tummy's full, we headed to Moelfre for a long coastal walk. This is one of my favourite places in the world (you may recognise it from a Spring LookBook).

We collected shells and wild flowers all along our walk as we stopped to admire the stunning views. It really is the most peaceful place, perfect for a Sunday stroll with a flask of tea.
Do you have any favourite spots you never get tired of visiting? I'd love to hear your weekend getaway recommendations!

A Weekend in Anglesey : Saturday

As a birthday present, my sister took myself, her, and my mum to stay in a beautiful B&B on the gorgeous Welsh island of Anglesey; An idyllic spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

We began our weekend with a visit to South Stack Lighthouse (for a very windy, albeit, dangerous picnic). The views are absolutely outstanding and I'm told on a clear day you can even see over to Ireland!

We then headed to where we'd be spending the night, Llwydiarth Fawr Bed & Breakfast. An enchanting Georgian mansion set in the beautiful countryside of Llanerchymedd. Our room was exquisite and so dreamy!!
I wore the dress my mum gave to me for my birthday (from Zara), so I couldn't resist taking some quick outfit pictures...

I'm going to split this into two posts as I have lots of lovely photos to share from Sunday too :)

Jo Malone : Peony & Blush Suede

Peony & Blush suede is my most favourite perfume, ever. And it has become my signature scent over the last couple of years. It's a very pretty and floral scent; jasmine, rose, and gillyflower. It is charming and elegant, with the crisp top note of a juicy red apple and the sensual base note of suede (which compliments the florals and adds opulence to the fragrance).

Have you tried any of the Jo Malone fragrances? I'd love to know your favourite!
