Rainbow Bébé

As I have reached my late Twenties, dressing for Summer isn't just about filling my wardrobe full of pretty floral dresses. I like to find a few key pieces that I can mix & match to create an effortless Summer look. These include: a Breton top, a Denim A-Line Mini Skirt (versatile throughout the year), a basket bag, and a pair of sandals.

Boden is my brand of choice for all things stripes - and this happy little rainbow number is actually from the children's collection, and an absolute steal at £18.00. It makes me smile just looking at it, and can be worn to cheer up an otherwise dull British Summer's day (it rains a lot here).

The Topshop Denim A-line Mini Skirt has been a wardrobe essential for the past two years. I wear it all year round, and especially enjoy tucking in a simple t-shirt or breton top for a casual, yet chic, look.

I absolutely adore the Jane Birkin inspired basket bags - I have been searching for one all year, until Topshop brought out their sell-out version, which, to me, is perfect for all of my daily essentials.

During Summer I pretty much wear two brands on my feet - Converse, and Saltwater Sandals. They are super comfortable and a really classic style sandal. I plan on extending my collection to the full colour range available.

What I'm wearing:
Rainbow Breton: Boden // Denim A-Line Mini Skirt: Topshop (similar) //
Wicker Basket Bag: Topshop (similar) // Cream Cat Eye Sunglasses: Topshop (similar) //
Navy Sandals: Saltwater Sandals
