Autumn Transitional Staples

As we bid farewell to one of the hottest summers we've ever had, I can't quite wait for autumn and the seasonal trends that go hand in hand with my favourite season.
I'm a big fan of corduroy - trousers, pinafores, jackets, and most of all... the a-line mini skirt. A firm staple in my year-round wardrobe, made even better in a crisp burnt orange corduroy. The zip details adds a nice sixties finish to the classic shape and looks perfect paired with a turtle neck.
Which again is something I enjoy wearing when the air starts to get a little crisp. This navy and orange stripe number is perfect when paired with the skirt and is definitely a dream combination that I'll be wearing a lot this season.
One of the many questions us Brits face this time of year is "when is it finally time to bring out the big coat?" - and I've found the perfect transitional piece to see me through until the time is right. This navy oversized blazer is perfect to throw on over an outfit when there's a nip in the air.
